In the Bible, it says that the Lord created the heavens and the Earth in six days, and then rested on the seventh. I am a Christian, and I definitely believe that the Lord did do this. I am not disputing that fact. What I am interested in is how long each of those 'days' actually lasted. I think that the days were symbolism. Each day probably stood for millions of years. The creation story would not make sense otherwise, for it has been scientifically proven that there was a long period of time when the Earth was uninhabited by humans. So if you think about my theory, it makes much more sense than saying all creation happened in six 24 hour periods. I am currently researching this topic, and I will keep you updated when I get more in formation. God bless you.
